The D series Multistage Ring Section Centrifugal Process Pump is a configured, ring section, multistage pump specifically designed for high pressure feed service in long distance water tranferring applications. A Centrifugal Process pump is one whose function is part of the process. The pump doing this type of job will be directly responsible for maintaining the continuous operation of the process.
In pulp and paper mills, centrifugal process pumps are commonly used to transfer pulp stock from washers and thickeners to the next process stage. The pulp falls into a pumping vessel, called the medium-consistency drop leg (MDL). Our centrifugal process pumps, because of their low inlet-head requirements, can transport the pulp even from a low-level vessel.
